Mark graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Music degree in classical guitar from the University of California at Irvine. He also studied music with guitar legend Rusty Anderson (guitarist for Paul McCartney for 25 years) and jazz with Alan Rowe (Stan Kenton Orchestra). Mark toured and played with musicians including Larry Carlton (Steely Dan, Joni Mitchell, Michael Jackson), Karl Denson (Sax player for the Rolling Stones), Traffic, and Tim Reynolds (Dave Matthews Band).

Besides Aliso Viejo music lessons, Mark also records, produces, and composes music in a variety of styles for different formats including film and video games.
