Mark has years of experience in both teaching, performing, and recording. He has studied music with some of the greatest musicians internationally, including Rusty Anderson (Paul McCartney, Elton John, Willy Nelson, Santana). He also studied classical guitar with David Tannenbaum and Scott Tennant, and jazz theory with Alan Rowe (Stan Kenton Orchestra). Mark has toured and performed with music legends including Larry Carlton (Steely Dan), Karl Denson (sax player for the Rolling Stones), Tim Reynolds (Dave Matthews Band), and Dave Mason of Traffic.

Hamrock Music is located conveniently off the 405 & 5 freeway interchange in Laguna Hills. Lessons are also offered online (Skype and Zoom). Many students have been preferring this method as they can easily record the lessons and a running chat dialogue is kept with materials and assignments.
