Guitar and Bass Lessons Via Skype
If you live outside of Orange County, or want to save time and gas by avoiding a drive, Webcam Guitar and Bass Lessons are a great way to gain instruction in the comfort of your own home, while still receiving the proper and crucial feedback you don’t get from watching video lessons. I have to admit I was a little skeptical before I started giving Webcam Lessons because of the delay time and fact that the student and I would have to look at a screen to see each other’s hands and listen through speakers to hear each other play, but I am really surprised at how well the lessons work even using standard internet cameras and computer microphones. I have had great success with these lessons and am excited to see how the advances in networking technology will make them even better. A helpful advantage to Skype is that you can record your lesson as a video file and review it as many times as you like.
Webcam Lessons are available to students all over the world. I typically use Skype or Google Video Chat (both free downloads), but any provider of your choice will work. The materials and assignments are provided to you via email or through my website.
